Hello, everyone. First of all, your papers have been graded, and I'm very happy with the results we've had this week! Everyone is working hard, despite a few setbacks, and that's a good attitude to keep! Also, to my Gryffindors, I've reserved the Qudditch Pitch for practice. [[OOC: I've been really busy so I don't know what dates would be ic. ooc-comment me on what day makes sense?]]

Unfortunately, for those of you (minus the seventh years) who may have wanted your papers back, I have some bad news... Anna, my owl, seems to have gotten to them while I was out of my office. It seems she's making a nest? It's a bit odd, but I promise I'll be mindful of her next time so that this doesn't happen.

Castiel, I've asked Professor Dumbledore and he's given us permission to use the grounds for your.. ceremony, if you remember. I believe we could have it this week, if possible? Summer break gave me enough time to prepare everything, so you don't have to worry. Is there any date you're partial to? I already have a bit of a guest list in mind, but if there's anyone you'd like to add, well...

..I suppose I should count myself lucky that Marco is of the male persuasion? Though he's frequently succeeded in raising Cain with my classroom supplies as well. Lord knows how he gets in there.

Yes, it looks like I'll have to better protect my office's supplies. Raphael is getting bigger now; he might be a threat to my quills soon...

Don't let him eat them; the splinters can be a choking hazard. A few smaller, soft feathers from the Owlery are a good distraction, I've found.

That's a thought. -- Come to think of it, Marco usually introduces himself to new animals in the castle -- have you seen him nosing about yet?

Hmm, I think I've seen him around. Perhaps he and Raphael would get along? I should bring him to my office sometime. Anna isn't dangerous the way Wan Shi Tong's owl is. She really only swoops in when she feels threatened, and since she hasn't been around as much as she used to, it should be safe...

Perhaps! He seems to get along with some of the others. Feel free to befriend him if you see him about. ..Hm, hopefully Anna won't take exception to him if they do meet. He does have a mean bite when subjected to a genuine attack.
