I know the temporary living arrangements must be cramped, but I hope everyone's getting along with their new house-mates! I wish I'd had so many chances to interact with people out of my house when I studied here. Being shut up in your own common rooms is no good; this is your chance to meet people you might not normally get to know.

I agree! Although there are plenty of inter-house events throughout the year, they all seem to be competitions, don't you think? Things like that only create tension between the houses...

It's a good thing the Gryffindors and Slytherins didn't end up sharing a dorm, though. I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't escape to my common room back then.

That's true, Quidditch doesn't help either.

That would have been awful, but then again, Gryffindor and Hufflepuff have the match on the weekend.
