Before you all go to Hogsmeade this weekend, I'd like to remind everyone that homework is due tomorrow. Yes, I am aware that it is due on Valentine's Day, but you've had lots of time, I'm sure you're all done with them by now, right?

Speaking of Hogsmeade, I haven't been there in almost ten years. Has anything changed since then? I'd warn you all to be safe considering the attacks the other day, but... Regardless, it's Valentine's Day, you should all try to enjoy yourselves!

Well, I've been down to Hogsmeade more recently than that, but not since tens of years previously... practically everything was new to me. Are you curious about anything in particular?

Mostly the sweet shops (Honeydukes, was it..?) and the Three Broomsticks. Are those still around?

And, uhm... Has the Shrieking Shack been taken down yet?

Ah, yes! The Three Broomsticks is still booming, and you have only to listen to the students as Hogsmeade weekends approach to hear that Honeydukes is alive and well.

..Hm, that shack on the edge of the town? No, they haven't dismantled it as far as I know. Rumor says that it's haunted, but between you and I, there's little evidence of it.

Haunted or not, it's still not a very pleasant place. Back when I studied here at least...
