Goodness, I keep losing my journal. I believe it was in the kitchens? Whatever was it doing there? [ nervous scrawl. ]
How is everyone doing? I know it's been a while since the new term started, but everyone's been catching up in class, right? If you have any trouble, don't forget that I'm available in my office after class.
As for those transformations... I hope everyone's alright? I didn't exactly enjoy the experience. Being that small was extremely inconvenient.
((ooc; Thobari was a Mudkip.so I herd you liek him.))

Date: 2010-04-20 04:05 am (UTC)Or ever. No, it seems I didn't... How strange... I'm willing to bet Yukimi is involved somehow.

Date: 2010-04-20 04:24 am (UTC)Yes I remember your traveling fear... you should really try hypnosis, it can work wonders.

Date: 2010-04-20 04:37 am (UTC)At this point, I think it's lost cause. It's not like it's a problem, anyway! I can always apparate. It's by best spell.
It's complicated. He's a colleague. The other Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, actually. And, well, I can't help but worry about him sometimes...

Date: 2010-04-20 04:58 am (UTC)That is ironic. What are the chances? Actually about 43% if you take into consideration all the departments and how many personnel there are in each department...
*he stops himself*
Yeah... I still do it... sorry. Curing me of that is a lost cause as well.
I agree, apparating is definitely a preferred form of travel. Personally and for - uh... others.. also. *stopped himself again*

Date: 2010-04-20 05:05 am (UTC)I still have to take the Hogwarts Express from time to time... It's really... unpleasant.
Yeah... It's not too terrible. He isn't as bad as he used to be? He has a girlfriend now who seems to be keeping him in check. You remember Maron?

Date: 2010-04-20 05:13 am (UTC)Have you tried potions or something? Calming Draught?
no subject
Date: 2010-04-20 05:34 am (UTC)It doesn't really help when the problem's psychological. Usually, I just try to sleep through the ordeal.
Yes. And yes.
no subject
Date: 2010-04-20 05:42 am (UTC)Are you able to sleep though? The Calming Draught at least slows down your central nervous system enough in order to induce sleep more easily. The potency of the potion depends on who's mixing it though. Some of them can have - uh - intensely narcotic properties.

Date: 2010-04-20 06:01 am (UTC)I worry about that, of course. If I have to take one every time I ride the Express, I could become dependent on it. I'll be fine; it's not so bad if I'm distracted.
It's... alright. She loves him. I would only get in the way of her happiness if I pushed any further.

Date: 2010-04-20 06:22 pm (UTC)Hmm.. yes.. you don't want any kind of dependency... the ones of a narcotic nature can be particularly difficult to break...

Date: 2010-04-20 11:15 pm (UTC)It's definitely inexplicable. Either way, Yukimi isn't really in any state to be messing around anymore; he was badly wounded in the attack last month, so hopefully he'll learn to take life more seriously from now on. It's one of the few good things to come from that whole mess...

Date: 2010-04-22 02:46 am (UTC)I do have an advanced degree in Potions, so if you ever need assistance...

Date: 2010-04-22 04:06 am (UTC)I'm hoping he can make the best of this terrible situation... We'll see, I suppose. He's stubborn. If we point out that he's getting better, he'll just deny it and try something immature again.

Date: 2010-04-22 05:13 am (UTC)Technically, we share the same position, but he is my senior, so usually what he says, goes. And besides, he doesn't have much else? It's a bit hard to make friends when you're so terse.

Date: 2010-04-22 06:03 am (UTC)Well since you're a wizard, you don't really use cars, nor airplanes, so that leaves transportation like trains and the Knight Bus. You run only about a 2% chance of dying in an accident of that nature. Plus if you take safety precautinous like wearing a seatbelt, that helps increase your odds of survival.
I'm not trying to patronize your phobia though, Thobari. Everyone has them, and you have a legitimate reason for having this one. Stick to apparating. The worst thing you can do there is splinch yourself.

Date: 2010-04-22 06:23 am (UTC)I've only splinched myself twice, and you know it.[ yeah, he might as well not have scratched it out in the first place ]no subject
